#5 The WWE needed a heel Champion

The WWE was lined with face champions for some time when Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, The New Day, B-Team, Charlotte, and AJ Styles were holding all the top prizes in the company.
Roman Reigns’ sad exit leaves it up to Braun Stroman to become the next face champion of the company. Shinsuke Nakamura is holding the US Championship but we haven’t seen him defend it much which leaves many questions unanswered.
Look who just shut down all of Tony Khan's critics! More HERE.
Becky Lynch’s heel turn has done the wrestler and the company a lot of good. She has become one of the best villains in the company, and after winning SmackDown's Women’s Championship, she has been on a roll.
Whether it is in the ring, on the mic, or even on Twitter, Lynch has repeatedly shown why she was the right choice to become the heel champion. This has added a fresh and new angle to the blue brand which was deprived of such a storyline.
The match between Becky Lynch and Charlotte was possibly the best of the night, and one of the best of 2018, which showcased how a babyface and a villainous heel can have an intense match, leaving the crowd wanting more.
A heel champion is what the company needed, and it has got that in the face of one of the best women’s wrestler alive.
