#3 Smaller guys making it big

WWE has always been the land of the giants. When Bret Hart became champion in 1992, he paved a way for the smaller guys. After Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels, the face of the company was always someone who was over 250 pounds or more. But in 2011, everything changed with CM Punk dropping a pipe bomb and overtaking John Cena in popularity that helped advance the company. Punk held the title for 434 days and proved that “smaller guys” could make it big.
In 2014, Daniel Bryan lead the revolutionary Yes Movement! and forced his way into the WrestleMania main event defeating Triple H, Batista and Randy Orton in the same night.

In 2018, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor and AJ Styles are leading the charge and are the most popular stars of the company. Back then, the promoters would tell that the WWE does not want smaller guys, but can they really say that now?
