WWE should give Matt Riddle another shot at AJ Styles

AJ Styles retained the Intercontinental title on an episode of Friday Night SmackDown, when he defeated Matt Riddle. That loss has some wondering if Matt Riddle will ever get a second shot at the workhorse title. With that being said and Riddle still having some unfinished business with Styles, expect a second title shot before SummerSlam.

At least that way WWE has a highly touted title match for Friday Night SmackDown, and they can get the belt on the former NXT favorite who could go into SummerSlam as Intercontinental champion. If nothing else, it checks all the boxes of what WWE needs right now and will help build him back up after his loss.

In all honesty, Mat Riddle winning The Intercontinental title is pretty much a certainly at this point. What isn't certain yet is how and when WWE will do it, which makes the weeks leading up to SummerSlam all the more interesting for WWE fans.
