Everyone in WWE is waiting for Bayley and Sasha Banks to turn on each other and face off at SummerSlam, which is why the company should have Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross split as a red herring. Not only will it show just how unbreakable the Role Model's friendship is, it will also make it all the more unbelievable when they finally do.

Furthermore, Nikki Cross is gaining traction as a singles star and Alexa Bliss probably could do that too in the near future. She has had a few injuries over her career, which is why she is often in protected roles, but there are other directions for her in the weeks leading up to SummerSlam.

In the end, fans are waiting on Bayley and Sasha Banks to turn on each other, but the story just seems to need more time to marinate. Beyond that, there is a large chunk of time between now and SummerSlam, which makes false swerves all the more important.
