#4 Keith Lee and Karrion Kross' rivalry gets more intense on WWE NXT

Karrion Kross was booked for a match against Danny Burch on this week’s WWE NXT, and the Brit did not waste a single moment to take the fight to NXT’s newest villain.

While the British brawler thought he could gain an early advantage in the fight against the NXT Championship hopeful, Kross turned the tide around and repeatedly slammed Burch onto the mat to make him realize the mistake he’d made.

Burch regained some control and even locked Kross in a cross-face, but he could not keep the bigger man down as Kross reversed it into a Doomsday Saito. He took another one from the villainous heel but tried to continue fighting before Kross locked him into the Kross Jacket and made him suffer before picking up the victory.

Right after the match, NXT Champion Keith Lee made an entrance with a contract in hand. The Herald of Doomsday and Scarlett left the ring as soon as Lee entered it and gave him a chance to call Kross names. Lee stated that he had begged NXT General Manager William Regal to give him a match against Kross at NXT: TakeOver XXX.

After Scarlett grabbed the contract and made Kross sign it, Lee opened it up to sign himself but was met with a fireball to the face. This seemingly blinded the NXT Champion as ENTs rushed to help him while the villains left the arena.

This was a good way to further build towards the possible main event of NXT: TakeOver XXX. A lot has happened between Lee and Kross over the past few weeks.

And with the contract stating that The Limitless One could not lay his hands on Kross before the match, it could make things even more interesting over the next couple of weeks.
