#2. Jeff Hardy entered the United States Championship match for WWE Extreme Rules

Damian Priest defeated Jeff Hardy in a United States Championship match on WWE RAW last week. This week, Hardy got a match against Sheamus.

Hardy fought to get himself a spot in the United States Championship match at Extreme Rules. He fought off Sheamus’ aggression with his speed and experience.

The Charismatic Enigma targetted Sheamus’ nose and left The Celtic Warrior bloodied. Sheamus went on a roll late in the contest, but Hardy caught him with a sunset flip for the upset victory.

The match wasn’t great, but the result will allow the fan-favorite veteran to compete in a big match on Extreme Rules. Just a couple of weeks back, he was seen chasing the 24/7 Championship. WWE is doing some damage control with this booking.

#1. Roman Reigns came out on top after a massive battle to end WWE RAW

The cream of WWE competed in the main event of RAW in a Triple Threat Match. Big E, Roman Reigns, and Bobby Lashley faced off in one of the biggest matches on RAW this year.

After what happened during the first match of the night, all three men were ready to tear each other apart. They delivered some big moves to showcase their power.

The WWE Champion gained the upper hand and nearly picked up the victory with a Big Ending to Roman. Lashley cut him off and unloaded on E with a steel chair.

Reigns seized the opening, delivered the Spear, and earned a hard-fought win. The match was fantastic and gave fans something completely unexpected. It also solidified The Tribal Chief as the true face of WWE.
