We all know that WWE are the biggest Sports Entertainment powerhouse in the world, but in 2018, the company definitely proved it.
Forming NXT UK, the company now has a lock on the British wrestling scene, whilst events like the Mae Young Classic has helped bring in audiences and Superstars from around the globe.
The Saudi Arabia deal has been a huge score for the WWE this year, and whilst the Greatest Royal Rumble and Crown Jewel did get a shellacking in the media, it's hard to argue with the money they have raised.
Expanding their brand just makes sense if the WWE hopes to get people watching. The more there is, the more likely people will watch the product.
Even now, the WWE are reportedly putting this plan into motion, with a rumored NXT Germany in the future.
