#4 Sonya Deville gets the spotlight again

Sonya Deville and Lacey Evans were once again booked to compete on this week’s SmackDown, and Deville did not waste any time to gain an advantage as she attacked Evans while she was making her entrance.

While Evans was beaten down before the match could begin, she did a great job of going after Deville right from the opening bell. Deville got back in the match thanks to her experience and looked to score another victory over The Sassy Southern Belle this week.

She once again went after Evans outside the ring and stood on her neck on the stairs to make a statement. Deville was in the driving seat but Mandy Rose appeared on the big screen to distract her former best friend long enough for Evans to hit The Women’s Right and pick up the win.

Will SmackDown book another big match for Backlash?

While we thought the story between Rose and Deville was over on SmackDown, this match allowed the creatives to once again further the feud without getting the two women physically involved.

This will be a good way to keep both the Superstars in the spotlight, and fans can hope that Deville will finally win the feud so she can progress to her next big challenge.
