5 things you need to know before tonight's Monday Night Raw (November 19th, 2018)

WWE Survivor Series 2018 is officially in the history books, and what a historic night it was.

At the show, RAW dominated over SmackDown Live, winning 6-0 on the main card, though the Blue brand did win in the ten-team elimination match on the pre-show.

The show saw a dream match as well, as Daniel Bryan battled the Beast Brock Lesnar, and despite an impressive showing by the new WWE Champion, it was Lesnar who emerged victorious, after planting Bryan to the mat with a devastating F5 to pick up a hard-fought victory.

But now, the men and women of Monday Night RAW look to the future, with TLC, the final pay per view of 2018 being less than a month away.

But before then, they need to survive tonight's RAW from Los Angeles, California.

Here are five things you need to know before tonight's episode of Monday Night RAW.

#5 What is next for the #FaceBreaker?

After concussing SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch last week, Nia Jax has become one of the most talked about Superstars in all the WWE.

Christened the #Facebreaker, due to giving the Lass Kicker a bloodied nose, Jax continued her dominant ways at the pay per view, becoming the sole survivor for Team Raw's women.

Interestingly though, Jax insisted on being the sole survivor for the red team, attacking her partner Sasha Banks, allowing SmackDown's Asuka to eliminate the Boss.

It seems that Jax is not in the market of making friends, though still has her team-up with Tamina Snuka going on, as well as a title shot at RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey, an accolade she earned at Evolution.

With a guaranteed title shot and her partnership with Tamina flourishing every day, expect Jax to be even cockier tonight on Monday Night RAW.

#4 It's time to celebrate!

At Survivor Series, team RAW had the most shocking of wins in the show's history, winning all six inter-promotional matches.

This isn't the first time the red brand has dominated at the November tradition, as they won in 2016 and 2017, but never has their victory been so decisive.

Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon will certainly be in a good mood, after beating her brother and SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon, who last month won the Best in the World Trophy at Crown Jewel.

The win was certainly great news for Acting RAW General Manager Baron Corbin, who will remain in the role after being threatened by Stephanie that he would lose the position if RAW didn't get the clean sweep.

Expect the former Women's Champion to be in a very good mood tonight, and who knows? Maybe there'll be some cake to celebrate (though we all know what happens with cake in WWE).

#3 Strowman finally gets his Universal title shot, and more...

Speaking of the Constable, Baron Corbin certainly had a mixed night at Survivor Series.

After costing Braun Strowman the Universal Championship at Crown Jewel, Corbin has run and hidden from the Monster Among Men, which is why it was so strange when the Constable announced Strowman for team RAW.

With that said, the Greatest Royal Rumble winner certainly impressed, eliminating four of team SmackDown, before being attacked (once again) by the Constable, who laughed alongside the Dogs of War, Lashley and Lio Rush.

However, it looks like Strowman will be getting the last laugh, as due to his performance in the Elimination match, as well as working well alongside his teammates, Strowman has been awarded a shot at the Universal Championship, and a match against Corbin.

It seems that luck has finally run out for the former United States Champion.

#2 How can Rousey bounce back?

At Summerslam 2018, Ronda Rousey won the RAW Women's Championship and has certainly had a tough time as Champion.

But at Survivor Series, the UFC Hall of Famer faced her toughest challenge against Charlotte Flair, being assaulted by the Queen, who lost due to disqualification.

Being lambasted with several Kendo sticks, it is perhaps the most vulnerable the WWE Universe has seen Rousey, who debuted for the company at January's Royal Rumble event.

As if that wasn't enough, Rousey has continued to go back and forth on Twitter with original Survivor Series opponent Becky Lynch, who was pulled due to a concussion.

And whilst Ronda has had some strong words for the Lass Kicker, 'The Man' has continued to school Rousey online.

Expect Rousey to have some very strong words for Flair, as well as Lynch, who is being rumored to be the Hot Rod's WrestleMania 35 opponent.

#1 Ambrose and Rollins will battle once more

When Dean Ambrose turned on Seth Rollins a few months back, the fans were rightly shocked.

Since then, Ambrose has continued to taunt and attack the Architect, even costing the pair the RAW Tag Team Championships to the Authors of Pain.

As Ambrose did not make his presence known at Survivor Series, Rollins was able to pick up the win over SmackDown's United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, allowing RAW to go 2-0 up.

After the match, Rollins was informed that he will finally get a match against the Lunatic Fringe, though it will be at TLC, and for Rollins' Intercontinental Championship.

Whilst no stipulation has been announced yet, expect some barbaric match-type to be added, as the former friends hope to tear each other apart.

But before then, both need to make it through tonight's RAW, though I doubt these two will co-exist.
