Time and again, the WWE boss has been accused of ignoring the fans and pushing his own agenda. Shoving unpopular superstars down our throats without caring what the fans think. Being the chairman of the board, Vince McMahon usually has the final word on key decisions. Pundits have pointed out that once Vince makes a decision on the direction of the company, very few can question him.

Pushing Roman Reigns to the sky despite fans disapproval, not pushing talented superstars like Cesaro are few instances of the boss pushing his own agenda. However, there have been instances when Vince bowed down to pressure and gave the fans what they wanted.

Here are five times Vince gave in to the fans' demands.

#5 AJ Styles push

AJ Styles is regarded as one of the best professional wrestlers in history. Currently, he is the only wrestler to have held the NWA, TNA, IWGP and WWE championships. He was the most popular wrestler to not compete in a WWE ring and fans wanted him in the biggest wrestling company in the world.

Their voices were heard when Vince signed him in 2016 and Styles made his debut at the 2016 Royal Rumble match. The ovation he received that night was deafening. It is worth noting that Styles had two appearances for the WWE (then WWF) in 2002 before rejecting a development deal. Since his debut, Styles has won the WWE and the United States championship titles. Also, he has headlined several pay-per-views.

#4 The return of Goldberg

When WCW was acquired by the WWE, many fans were excited to see the WCW superstars come in to WWE and feud with top stars. There is one superstar WWE fans were looking forward to seeing, following his dominant run in WCW -- Goldberg.

However, that was not to be as Goldberg was not interested in working for Vince McMahon. Two years down the line, Goldberg made his debut to confront The Rock on the night after WrestleMania 19 leading to a feud. A year later following his lackluster match with Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 20, Goldberg parted ways with the WWE.

WWE fans did not see Goldberg for over a decade. 12 years later, after doing a number of world tours, Goldberg had the fans backing on a return to the WWE ring. Fans were vocal on potential dream matches in the event he made it back to the squared circle. The WWE boss saw money in this and negotiated for a return of one of the most dominant superstars in wrestling history to the delight of the fans.

#3 Daniel Bryan wins the world title.

Daniel Bryan won the WWE and World titles in the main event of WrestleMania 30.

Daniel Bryan has immense wrestling skills and charisma. In 2014, his popularity was at its peak and fans made their voices known for their unwavering support. The planned main event for WrestleMania that year was for Randy Orton to defend his title against the returning Batista.

However, Batista was heavily boo'ed upon winning the Royal Rumble that year and with Daniel Bryans exclusion from the match, the reaction to the match was very negative. Fans continued demanding Brian's elevation to the main event status. Vince had no choice but to have this main event changed to a triple threat, including Daniel Bryan. This was a well-calculated move with SLAM! Wrestling giving the showcase a 4.5 out of 5 rating.

#2 Kurt Angle's return to WWE

The Olympic gold medalist is one if not the most talented wrestler in history. The WWE Hall of Famer left the company in 2006 to join TNA wrestling (now Global Force Wrestling) where he became a record 6-time World Champion. When Kurt Angle left TNA there was a lot of buzz about him reuniting with Vince McMahon whom he has always considered a father.

The fans wanted to see Kurt Angle at least one more time in a WWE ring. These wishes came true when Angle was announced as a Hall of Fame inductee in 2017. After 11 long years, he tweeted to fans on January 17th - "I'm coming home! #itsdamntrue".

Vince was never high on CM Punk. It is therefore obvious that the boss was not keen on having an offer for Punk when his contract came to an end in 2011. However, the fans thought otherwise and were vocal about their support for Punk following his infamous pipe bomb.

What ensued was an instant classic match at Money in the Bank pay-per-view against John Cena in Punk's home state of Chicago. Following the popularity Punk accrued from the fans with his anti-establishment rant, Vince gave in by offering him a new lucrative contract. What followed was Punk having a memorable 434-day title reign.
