#2 Vince McMahon punishes JBL for attacking Blue Meanie for real

JBL
Back in 2005, WWE presented ECW One Night Stand as a tribute to the fallen brand. On the road to the event, Blue Meanie was seen criticizing JBL publically, and the former WWE Champion didn't take it well. During the brawl that closed the show, JBL hit Meanie for real, thus leaving him a bloody mess. This didn't sit well with the higher-ups, and Vince McMahon seemingly decided to punish The Wrestling God for his behavior.
Soon after, JBL and Blue Meanie had a match on WWE SmackDown. The match is remembered by fans for Meanie exacting revenge on JBL after what had happened at One Night Stand. During the closing moments of the match, Blue Meanie's associate Stevie Richards hit JBL with an incredibly scary-looking chair shot. Meanie picked up the win over JBL and the matter was put to rest. Blue Meanie later revealed that he had patched things up with JBL a long time ago, and the duo is on good terms.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
