#3 Bray Wyatt’s puppets appear
As great as it would be to see “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt frighten away the Performance Center recruits, it is more likely that we see his puppets appear again at WWE Backlash.
Look who just shut down all of Tony Khan's critics! More HERE.
The Money in the Bank match between “Firefly Fun House” Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman featured the use of puppets, with Huskus The Pig Boy cheering on the former Universal Champion from behind the barricade.
According to Wrestling News Co, WWE pre-recorded the Money in the Bank title match to avoid the puppeteers from potentially showing up on the live PPV broadcast.
“WWE taped the Bray Wyatt vs. Braun Strowman match in advance. The reason for this was that they didn’t want to risk accidentally showing the puppeteers on camera when Bray’s puppets appeared during the match. At last word, the plan is to continue with the Bray vs. Braun feud but this time Braun will have to deal with The Fiend when they wrestle each other again.”
As of the time of writing, it appears that Edge vs. Randy Orton is the only WWE Backlash match that has been filmed in advance, which means the puppeteers will need to be extra careful if they are needed during the PPV.
Alternatively, perhaps we could see the puppets appear in a different segment on Sunday…
