#1 “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt causes a disqualification

While Bray Wyatt has re-established himself as a main-eventer over the last year, it is difficult to judge whether The Miz and John Morrison should be happy with the way that their WWE characters have been booked of late.
Yes, both Superstars have been in prominent roles on SmackDown in 2020, but do either of them really seem like legitimate Universal Championship holders heading into WWE Backlash?
Realistically, Braun Strowman is not going to lose his title in this handicap match on Sunday, so where does that leave The Miz and Morrison? Like their brief SmackDown Tag Team Championship reign, will they end up looking even weaker than before once this title storyline is over?
A disqualification finish at WWE Backlash, caused by “The Fiend”, would prevent The Miz and Morrison from suffering an embarrassing handicap defeat, and it would also help continue the Strowman-Bray Wyatt Universal Championship storyline.
“The Fiend” Bray Wyatt could stand tall by holding up the Universal Championship at the end of the match, signalling that his rivalry with Strowman is far from over.
