We aren't 100% certain of who would do it, but there are honestly a number of candidates who would just feel right.
Whatever the case may be, firing Steph could be the most effective way to go. Just picture her crumbling down in tears after being decisively told that she's no longer in a position of power. It'd be thoroughly satisfying and would provide some form of closure for fans who have despised her for so long. It could be a good thing for the business behind the scenes, too.
To develop on that idea, let's focus on Steph's family a little bit more closely.
