Owens and Mahal have formed the oddest alliance in recent times
Sami Zayn is injured and no longer a part of RAW, as an unfortunate result. In his absence, Kevin Owens has formed the strangest alliance with Jinder Mahal. Both of these men could solidify their relationship by scoring a comprehensive victory over Strowman. When the referee is down or distracted, Mahal could interfere during this match and take Strowman out with his own briefcase.

This would essentially lead to a feud between Jinder Mahal and Braun Strowman, following SummerSlam. More importantly, it would allow for Owens to pick up a pinfall victory over Braun Strowman, allowing him to boast and brag. It would certainly make for some interesting moments immediately following SummerSlam.

And as I have previously discussed, it could allow for Owens to make an appearance in the main event match of SummerSlam. This would certainly be a better use of Mahal, than his current role.
