#2 Suspending Disbelief

The one thing that is more overused in wrestling than an episode of Monday Night Raw commencing with a promo is a superstar getting suspended. WWE has been using this trope for as long as fans can remember, as authority figures flexing their power over undermined wrestlers has been overdone, and till today WWE can't seem to let go of this booking method.
Many know that this 'suspension' wrestlers receive on TV is usually meant to write superstars off for a few months to deal with injuries or another issue, but in Brock Lesnar's case, it's used to make the Beast's schedule a little more compact. If you recall Lesnar's suspension in 2015, it was meant to let Lesnar leave TV until he needed to return a few months down the line for his next contractual date.

According to rumours circulating around Lesnar's schedule in 2019, a potential suspension from Stephanie McMahon will make it easier for WWE to explain why Lesnar won't be on TV for a long time until he reappears. For fans, this is a cop-out for Lesnar, except for WWE it's just smart but predictable business decision.
#1 Against The Odds

Brock Lesnar has never had any on-screen partnerships since his return to WWE in 2012, as the company felt the need to market the man as a lone ranger in the vast sea of wrestling. And if we are being honest here, that type of booking works with the type of wrestler Brock is portraying, as this is former UFC Heavyweight Champion; why would he need help?
But while Lesnar might be walking alone into a fight, over the years we have seen other superstars try and get the best of him by utilising the numbers game. From The Shield to The The Authority, superstars have tried to isolate Lesnar and destroy him, but Brock is still 'too OP' for these games. If McMahon wants to make Lesnar pay for his actions on Raw, then it could be in a way no one would expect.
That surprising way could be a three on one beatdown courtesy of The Authority. Imagine the scenes if The Authority's favourite lackeys in Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin jump Brock in an unexpected fashion. This could be the start of the long rumoured Lesnar face turn, and that could give us a host of dream matches down the line.
From Lesnar vs Lashley to Lesnar vs McIntyre, WWE would be doing themselves a favour by booking this. So would it actually happen? Well, when a McMahon says they are going to make someone pay, anything goes in their world.
