5 Ways the WWE can rebuild Braun Strowman

Strowman deserves a big push

On Sunday night, the WWE made its worst decision of 2017 so far. They let the unpinned, unsubmitted Braun Strowman lose, clean. Not only did they diminish the winning streak of the monster but they also fed him to the one person who doesn't need such momentum, Roman Reigns.

At Fastlane, the monster we once knew & revered was diminished in front of our eyes with a meaningless 1,2,3 count. I don't know about you but I see the monster among men as a worthwhile asset to have in the coming years.

I'd much like to see him featured prominently in the main event scene. The rebuilding process of Braun Strowman needs to start and it needs to start now. The WWE refused to start the process on Monday Night Raw, perhaps if they read my suggestions this week, they'll start next Monday.

Here are 5 ways the WWE could rebuild Braun Strowman.

#5 Utter destruction every week

Time to go back to basics for the big man. At Fastlane, the WWE creative team undid all the hard work they had invested into the former Wyatt Family member. Nobody takes monsters seriously after getting pinned clean, literally nobody.

Look at all the great big men figures in history, all were dubbed as destructive forces up until their first loss. After that crucial first loss, they were either repackaged or just looked at as a glorified jobber. We need to stop that trend right here with Braun Strowman.

From now up until Wrestlemania, Strowman needs to be as destructive as he can. He needs to interrupt and lay waste to all meaningless matches on Monday nights, that means talent like Titus O'Neil, the Shining Stars and Bo Dallas should all get run over on a weekly basis. Only then will we be able to see the 7-footer as a worthy force again.

#4 More squash matches

I know nobody really enjoys a meaningless squash match, but after what happened at Fast Lane, it's needed. But this time when the big man has a 5-minute match, it must be against known Superstars, not local ones.

The entire lower to mid card needs to be decimated at his hands in record time, hell, why not even have the big man have two squash matches a night. Anything that could get him ready in time for the Summerslam main event.

These squash matches also need to display more of Strowman's agility. For a 369-pounder, the bearded man moves as swift as a cat. These bouts could be used to help him develop a new move set and evolve into the most complete big man in history. It'd be a start I suppose.

#3 Win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

The monster among men would be benifited by a Battle Royal at ‘Mania

I know at first it doesn't sound like that much of a big deal but if Strowman enters the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, he will quite simply be the centrepiece of the match. That kind of spotlight does wonders for a superstar's popularity.

Strowman would easily be the only main event calibre superstar in the bout, meaning he'll be expected to win and when he does, it shows the WWE Universe that the creative team have faith in him again.

A 30-man battle royal means twenty-nine men will be thrown over the top rope by Strowman, allowing him to cement his status as a different breed of man. Many see the royal as a jobbers match just to get as many Superstars on the roster onto the card.

It'd even be seen as a step down for Braun but the manner in which he wins it is what will make all the difference.

#2 Injure people

What's the best way to put the locker room and WWE Universe on notice? Injure people. If you thought you'd seen the worst of Braun Strowman, hopefully, it'll pale in comparison to this side of him.

For the rebuilding of Strowman to be impactful, it must come at the cost of other's livelihoods. Backs must be broken and muscles all need to be torn at the hands of the 7-footer. Same way the World's Strongest Man revived his career back in 2011 with the Hall of Pain, Strowman could mimic that destruction, putting several stars on the injury list.

Look at Samoa Joe now, he's the most over heel on the roster today, why? Because he injured a top star in Seth Rollins, that's where his momentum has ultimately stemmed from. Braun Strowman must put half the Raw roster in hospital beds or his credibility will forever be rendered as worthless.

#1 Interfere in the Universal title match

Braun Strowman has only had 1 title opportunity so far

At Wrestlemania 33, the WWE Universe will be treated to a match that not one person on the planet asked for. The 'icon' Goldberg will be locking horns with the 'beast' Brock Lesnar for the much coveted Universal Championship.

Now many will say that two box office draws like them will be a great watch for the world but the last time these two faced off at a Wrestlemania, they were booed out the building. There's no need for it to be done again, so why don't we add an interesting finish to it? This is where Braun Strowman comes in.

Halfway through the match, Strowman needs to run down the ramp and give a running power slam to BOTH Goldberg and Brock Lesnar. Thus ending the match in a double disqualification, meaning Wrestlemania ends with Strowman standing tall holding the title in his hand (not actually winning it, of course). If this happens, all will be forgiven and forgotten.
