Could McIntyre score a victory over Reigns to ascend the ranks?
Rumours are abundant that Drew McIntyre is due for a big singles push. Now, as talented as McIntyre is, there needs to be a big victory in his immediate future to be considered the next top guy. For this to happen, all he needs to do is pin Roman Reigns. This would establish him as a top-tier WWE superstar.
Ziggler and McIntyre can come baying at Reigns' heel in coming weeks. It will be a fresh rivalry and one that has many intriguing possibilities over time. It could also be a passing of the torch from one top guy to another.
