5 ways Vince McMahon can show up at WrestleMania 34

Vince McMahon has had several WrestleMania moments in the past

WWE owner Vince McMahon prefers to spend his time behind the camera rather than in front of it, but WrestleMania is always full of surprises and you just never know who might show up.

Vince has appeared in three notable segments over the last six months – with Kevin Owens, Steve Austin and Roman Reigns – and he could potentially get involved with multiple storylines going on in WWE right now.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at five ways that the creator of WrestleMania can show up on-screen at this year’s “Showcase of the Immortals”.

#5 He gets interrupted by The Rock

The Rock is
The Rock is expected to appear in New Orleans

It hasn’t been officially confirmed yet that The Rock will be at WrestleMania 34. However, he has featured at six of the last seven ‘Mania events and, according to bookmakers’ odds, he will almost certainly make an appearance in New Orleans.

If that does happen, we have already suggested that he could potentially be involved in a sing-a-long with Elias, but what if he were to feature in a segment alongside Vince McMahon instead?

Perhaps Vince could be boasting about the WrestleMania attendance figure when, all of a sudden, The Rock’s music hits and “The Great One” proceeds to lay the SmackDown, both verbally and then physically, on his former boss.

#4 He tries to cost Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey will team with Kurt Angle against Stephanie McMahon and Triple H

Nobody is better at being a bad guy than Vince McMahon. Just look at the Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus rivalry in 2015 when Vince’s heel antics caused the same crowd that booed Reigns out of the building 11 months earlier to cheer for him at the end of the night.

Of course, Ronda Rousey’s reaction from WWE fans isn’t quite like Reigns’ was then, but she still finds herself in a position where audiences are waiting to decide whether to cheer her or boo her.

If WWE wants the MMA megastar to be a well-liked babyface in the women’s division after WrestleMania, then maybe the answer could be to have Vince try, but ultimately fail, to help Stephanie McMahon and Triple H in their tag match against Rousey and Kurt Angle.

#3 He finally gets some revenge on Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens brutally attacked Vince McMahon in 2017

If there’s one thing we’ve learned about the Vince McMahon on-screen character over the years, it’s that he probably holds more grudges than anybody else in WWE.

That being said, it’s surprising that the owner of the company hasn’t been involved in the Kevin Owens vs. Shane McMahon storyline since he suffered a vicious attack at the hands of Owens on an episode of SmackDown Live in September 2017.

The rivalry looks set to finally conclude when Owens and Sami Zayn face Shane and Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania, and it would bring a perfect end to the storyline if Vince showed up to get some revenge on the man who attacked him last year.

#2 He tries to help Brock Lesnar against Roman Reigns

Roma
Roman Reigns will challenge for the Universal title at WrestleMania 34

It’s no secret that Brock Lesnar is expected to leave WWE at some point in 2018, possibly right after WrestleMania 34, which makes Roman Reigns the heavy favorite heading into their Universal Championship match in New Orleans.

As we previously mentioned, Vince McMahon’s involvement in past Reigns storylines has worked wonders in making the WWE audience actually like “The Big Dog”, and his recent role in the Reigns vs. Lesnar angle has certainly made the match feel a lot more exciting.

If WWE wants to close WrestleMania with fans cheering a Reigns victory, perhaps a heel Vince could unsuccessfully try to help Lesnar (aka “Vince’s boy”, in the words of Reigns) in the main event.

#1 He bids farewell to The Undertaker

The Undertaker could have his final match at WrestleMania 34

The Undertaker looked to have retired when he placed his famous hat, coat and gloves down in the middle of the ring canvas after losing to Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 33.

However, while it is yet to be officially confirmed, “The Deadman” looks set to return to the squared circle, probably for the final time, to face John Cena at WrestleMania 34.

Win or lose, ‘Taker will almost certainly bid farewell to WWE after the match, and it would be the perfect send-off if the rest of the locker room, plus Vince McMahon, stood on the stage to applaud as he made his way up the WrestleMania ramp.
