#2: The Fiend could take revenge against Goldberg in a post-match brawl following Goldberg's WWE title contest against Drew McIntyre at Royal Rumble 2021
If The Fiend is supposed to return to WWE in a somewhat repackaged form, could the character's newfound strength propel him to take revenge against Goldberg?
After all, Goldberg defeated The Fiend just under three minutes for the WWE Universal Championship at Super ShowDown last year. Many have said that The Fiend's loss in that particular instance was single-handedly the worst booking decision of 2020.
It took away a huge chunk from The Fiend's hot momentum at the time, even if Bray Wyatt managed to earn back all of that lost momentum in due course.
Now that Goldberg has returned to face Drew McIntyre for the WWE title at Royal Rumble 2021, could the aftermath of their match feature a return from an even stronger version of The Fiend?
To be clear, this slide doesn't advocate for Goldberg becoming the WWE Champion or even another match between Goldberg and The Fiend.
The main focus here should be for a returning Fiend to knock down his biggest threat from last year (Goldberg). This would then establish Bray Wyatt's evil alter-ego as an even stronger threat than before.
The Fiend's vicious attack on Goldberg could also act as a precursor for Randy Orton's dark fate on the Road to WrestleMania 37.
