Corbin could then add the stipulation of Balor being fired if he loses the match. From there, all WWE would have to do is pull a screw job on Balor and have Corbin fire him after a main event match on Raw. While Balor would have to take some time off television after that, it then allows WWE to build an invasion angle for Balor to get back on Raw.

Look! Its been done before and will no doubt be done again and again as the wrestling world continues to turn, but this is probably one situation where it a superstar would really benefit from this! Not only would it be something that would make his eventual returns one of the most anticipated in WWE history, it also builds the groundswell for a title run.
