#4. Andre The Giant breaks his ankle when getting out of bed

When you think of WWE history and its different eras, there are so many names that stand out. However, at the forefront is always the larger-than-life megastars - those who captured the imaginations of millions across the world; those who were the big box office attractions.

Andre The Giant was all that and more. Called "The Eighth Wonder of the World", it's hard to think of Superstars who managed to reach the level of popularity that he did or even the "mythical status" that he had.

Rightfully, he was the first-ever inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame, but he had his fair share of bizarre moments during his time in the company.

One day in early May 1981, Andre The Giant was scheduled to face Killer Khan at The Boston Garden. However, the match was canceled as Andre The Giant broke his ankle...getting out of bed. He would be sidelined for a whopping six weeks.
