#2 The leadership and PPV structure
The best part of both RAW and SmackDown is their respective leadership team. Stephanie McMahon/Mick Foley running RAW and Shane McMahon/Daniel Bryan running SmackDown with some top class decision-making and unique match set ups: What more can you ask for?
The connection the WWE universe has with Mick and Daniel worked a lot in WWE’s favour. The Commissioner-GM model of the show also made Shane and Steph relevant in the current scenario.
Another excellent move was the practice of having brand exclusive PPVs with just four in common- Summer Slam, Royal Rumble, Survivor Series and WrestleMania. This has worked well because the slotting of matches for the superstars on both the rosters has become easier.
Furthermore, there is an additional one-month gap to build and develop the storylines for the matches.
