5 welcome moves by WWE after the brand split

There’s more to WWE than this feud

#3 'First-time ever' formula

It’s good to be innovative

After the brand split, WWE has come up with a couple of ‘never before seen’ ideas and they were highly successful. The first was the triple threat match at the No Mercy PPV of the SmackDown brand involving Aj Styles, John Cena and Dean Ambrose.

This match was for the WWE World Championship, and this match was a show-stealer as expected. The best thing about this bout is that this is the first time in WWE that a main-event opened the PPV.

This match was applauded by many people on social media platforms and the idea of opening the PPV with this match, took No Mercy to a whole different level.

The RAW counterparts even tried to emulate this and pushed hard to make the match between Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens at Hell in a Cell a triple threat, however, that unfortunately didn’t happen.
