Batista has stated that if he cannot come to an agreement with WWE for a match by WrestleMania 35, he's permanently retiring from in-ring competition. The one performer that The Animal wants to face in his swansong is his mentor - Triple H.

If Batista and WWE cannot make a WrestleMania 35 match happen, it will be a shame to never see Batista have a proper retirement.

Having Batista face Triple H at WrestleMania 35 would be a great draw for the show as a whole, and it would also give Triple H a great storyline to retire with as well.

Making The Game fight against The Animal - a double retirement match, would raise the interest from the crowd as they'd appreciate the two future WWE Hall of Famers that much more.

Both men symbolically retiring would ensure a new era in WWE, as two of the greatest stars from the Ruthless Aggression Era would ride off into the sunset.
