5 WrestleMania 34 matches Ronda Rousey could have

The first ever UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion, 'Rowdy' Ronda Rousey made her surprise official WWE debut Sunday night following the conclusion of the women's Royal Rumble.

Ronda is believed to have signed a multi-year deal and although her in-ring debut may be kept until WrestleMania itself, she is still believed to have signed a full-time contract. The possibilities for Ronda in WWE are endless, with WrestleMania being her first major stop. Let's look at the 5 biggest matches she could have in New Orleans.

#5 Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair

When Ronda Rousey's name was thrown around as possibly wrestling for WWE, this was one of the dream matches fans talked about with joy.

WWE Smackdown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair has arguably been WWE's best women's performer of the last 5 years and she would certainly be more than capable of going toe to toe with the Rowdy one. Both women have also often teased a match between the two of them, both online and in person.

#4 Ronda Rousey vs Asuka

Ronda made her debut following the Royal Rumble win of Asuka. Perhaps the best part of Rousey's interaction with the other women was when she extended her hand to Asuka, only to be slapped away, garnering a big 'ooooh' response from the Philadelphia fans.

Asuka has been the most dominant woman in WWE history, bar none. Asuka has been undefeated on WWE TV for more than 2 years now and it has looked like no one could stop her, not even every other woman in the Royal Rumble upon her entry. Yes, Asuka looked like she was going to have no competition, that is until after the Royal Rumble when Ronda made her debut. A match between the two is possibly the biggest dream WWE match for Rousey.

#3 Ronda Rousey vs Stephanie McMahon

This is a match that has been teased by WWE for almost 3 years now. Following the confrontation between Ronda and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 31, WWE was hoping to come to terms with Ronda for some kind of match between the two at WrestleMania 32 in Dallas the following year but Rousey's UFC contract made that impossible to happen.

Now that Ronda has joined WWE, some kind of match between Ronda and Stephanie is imminent.

#2 The 4 Horsewomen vs The 4 Horsewomen

The most teased match of all for Ronda Rousey in WWE, Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Bayley and Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey, Jessamyn Duke, Marina Shafir and NXT's Shayna Baszler, the 4 Horsewomen vs the 4 horsewomen.

A “horsewomen vs. horsewomen” match was first teased during last year’s Mae Young Classic. There was a staredown between both groups after one of Baszler’s tournament wins, as well as a parking lot confrontation that can be seen in the picture above.

#1 Triple H & Stephanie McMahon vs Ronda Rousey & ???

As of this writing, this match is apparently the most likely to happen for Ronda Rousey's WWE debut match.

Ronda would get involved in a segment at WrestleMania 31 with Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and The Rock, in which the aftermath started the rumors of Rousey eventually joining WWE, or at least having a once-off match the following WrestleMania. Several sources have already confirmed that this is the match that will happen for Ronda at WrestleMania, with her male partner so far, to be confirmed.

The obvious choice would be The Rock, stemming from this segment at WrestleMania 31, and I think if Rock can make the time for it, it absolutely would happen.If not, I think the best possible replacement would be WWE RAW General Manager Kurt Angle, who has not only proved that he can still go but had been previously rumored to have a one-on-one match with Triple H in New Orleans.
