5 WrestleMania 34 matches that won't get the attention they deserve

Every single year some matches that deserve more TV time end up being being ignored by WWE.

Last year Owens vs Jericho comes to mind and it is one of the many examples. The match was badly hurt by the extraction of the universal title and the feud lost steam thanks to booking. Let's take a look at five matches that will have the same fate this Mania season.

5: Raw Women's Championship match

It doesn't matter if it is Bliss versus Nia or Asuka or even the both of them because there are in all likelihood going to be four Mania matches for the women.At least one will be left on the back burner far more than it deserves.

This match will be stuck on the outside of the WWE's focus. Charlotte defending her championship or Ronda's debut certainly won't be forgotten about. With RAW being the brand for part timers and endless talking segments this title and the women fighting for it may not get their deserved time to shine. Maybe if Asuka is involved WWE will pay a bit of attention to it, but that is still doubtful because we know Stephanie needs to get this time instead.

4: Braun Strowman vs. The Miz

This is currently the penciled in match for the intercontinental championship and this match should happen, with one of the hottest faces feuding with one of the best heels in the company. However, WWE most likely will not give it the attention it deserves. Too much attention will be given to Roman V. Brock or the authority against Ronda and Angle.

These two are perhaps the best thing RAW has got going on and it's a good pairing, the execution may leave both men out in the cold. Dare I say they could actually have a squash match. They did it to Daniel Bryan it could happen again.

3: Cruiserweight Championship Tournament Final

Enter captio — Rockstar Spud or Drake Maverick being introduced as new 205 live GM.

Interesting fact I was in the crowd when this tournament was announced. In the wake of the Enzo situation a tournament has been announced that will culminate at Wrestle-Mania. Let's face facts this match doesn't have a chance in hell of getting of the main show even with Triple H taking over 205 Live.

No combination is very likely to bump something with more star power. Guys like Alexander, Itami, and Strong deserve some time and they could put on a great show its just not looking good.

2: Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Cesaro, Big Show, Baron, and Mojo Rawley have won this battle royal over the last few years and none of them have been given a very solid push afterwards. The rumor mill says they are looking to make this year's a big deal with the Andre documentary coming soon, do not let them fool you.

They have never really done their best with this battle royal and they have had opportunities. Whether the match goes just before the main event or on the preshow, WWE does it's best to ensure fans don't care about it. They should be all in and give this year some big names, solid promos, and most important give the winner a giant push afterwards. It probably will not be happening.

1: Sasha Banks Vs. Bayley

This match deserves a fantastic build and at least twenty minutes at WrestleMania and it may not get either. The match has the same issues the RAW women's title match faces. Sasha and Bayley may be the best two female superstars in the world today. Their rivalry in NXT is unforgettable and if given the proper attention could be just as good on the main roster. Seeds have been planted, but more development is needed. These women need time to build up this feud and they most likely won't be given the proper attention. These two could dazzle the Mania crowd for a good half hour if given the chance, but with time constraints they may be given only about ten minutes.
