Flair is essentially the top woman of the brand and has had the help of Sonya Deville. Deville has stacked the deck against Naomi at every turn, including in matches with Flair.
It's similar to the rise of both Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston. Deville could try to steal the title opportunity from Naomi on the way to the Showcase of the Immortals. A win at Mania would do wonders for Naomi, especially over Flair. Flair has won and lost championships so much that she can afford a loss.
