The WWE’s “once-in-a-year” event, the Superstar-Shakeup is upon us and already one phase of it is done and dusted, which has been the one on Monday-Night RAW. Many top superstars from SmackDown Live have made the switch to the Red brand already making a strong impact, with some of the already existing ones in their roster, possibly going the other way on Tuesday evening.

The likes of AJ Styles, The Miz, The Usos, Naomi and others jumped ship to make it to Monday nights and will want to add a new spark to their career now. Meanwhile, some of the stars that go to SmackDown will want the same as well. However, that has not always been the case with regards to the Shakeup and there have been some past casualties of the same.

Here are five superstars/factions whose career in the WWE has been rather hurt by the Superstar-Shakeup.

#5 The Good Brothers

Ever since they made their move to SmackDown Live, the Good Brothers have barely been seen on Live TV and have fallen down the pecking order. They have failed to make any sort of impact and have been struggling in the hunt to rise to the top once again.

They were once the RAW Tag-Team champions at one point of time, though that seems to be an eternity ago now and they haven’t been given any sort of push since then. The duo was one of the hottest tag-teams in New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) before they came to the WWE and had shown a lot of promise initially.

They don’t seem to be going anywhere with respect to their career as a tag-team and could be heading out of the company in the days to come, if the writers can’t give them a solid storyline to work with.

#4 Jinder Mahal

The Modern Day Maharaja was at one point the WWE Champion on SmackDown and had everything going right for him. For making promotional trips to India, to fending off Money In The Bank cash-ins, Jinder was the perfect heel at the prime of his WWE career. Even when he dropped his title eventually, his image as a strong heel was still maintained on Tuesday nights.

However, since his move to RAW, he has been dropped completely from the title picture to the mid-card and is now just a filler on the main-show. The switch has hurt his career so much that he not win any title any time soon, with no potential push seeming to be on the cards. Not just that, alongside him, the Singh Brothers are also stuck in the same mid-card and though they are regularly being featured on the show, they have no long-term future with the com

#3 Bobby Roode

The “glorious” one has been one of the most under-appreciated superstars in the WWE and will be still be waiting for a proper push, despite two short-lived championship wins. Apart from a short US title run on SmackDown Live that gave him some fame, but barely lasted and a similar run with the Raw Tag-Team tiles, he has failed to live up to the hype that was build-up on his arrival from NXT.

The initial reign as a single’s champion saw him quickly drop the title to Randy Orton, which saw the fans rather disappointed with the way that he was wasted. Though there was hope that he would possibly recapture the title again, he was moved to Raw back then.

Similar was the case with the Tag titles, as they dropped them to The Revival within no time of capturing them after months of hard work. The most surprising thing about his character has always been that though he was more of a heel, he has been portrayed as a babyface since his main-roster debut.

Since his move to RAW, he has had no luck either and he has been recently paired with Chad Gable, though their Tag-Team is now going nowhere. The move that was expected to shape his future has done nothing significant for him and he was one of the top stars whose career was rather hurt with his move to Raw.

#2 Breezango - The Fashion Police

One of the best comic acts on the Blue brand was the serious called The Fashion Files, which starred the duo of Fandango and Tyler Breeze (Breezango), who were just so naturally funny. Week after week they built their own place in the audience’s hearts and were getting cheers from the crowds on a weekly basis. This not just brought them to prominence with time, but teams like The Ascensio, who played side characters on the mini-series, also received a push in the right direction and made it more enjoyable.

With an injury to Fandango and Breeze on Raw, things just went downhill for them and the mini-series on SmackDown was scrapped as well. Breeze still continues to be a mid-carter on the Red brand and is occasionally showcased on Live TV, as a competitor who puts over some of the rising stars. What a U-turn of events, it can be said.

#1 Big Cass

The team of Enzo Amore and Big Cass was one of the most loved ones when they made the switch from NXT to the main roster on WWE Raw. They were not just good with the mike in the hands, but the “big guy” was a force to reckon with in the ring as well. They looked a team that would go on to win a lot of titles in the long run, though that was just not meant to be.

The feud that started off on Raw eventually led to the breakup of their team and Cass was sent to SmackDown. Though Enzo had a lot of success as an individual performer, his partner just could not cope with being a single’s competitor on the “B-show” and his booking was so awful that he had some issues with the writing and was eventually released from the company. No one saw that coming, but it was eventually the right call, as Cass himself admitted it later in a Podcast.
