5 wrestlers Roman Reigns is yet to face in WWE

Over the years, Roman Reigns has become the face of WWE. Since debuting as a member of The Shield in 2012, Reigns has accomplished quite a lot in a relatively short span.

From being a Grand Slam Champion to main-eventing WrestleMania and beating The Undertaker, Reigns has proved time and again why he is the top guy in the industry.

The Big Dog has had victories over some of the best performers like John Cena, Seth Rollins, and AJ Styles.

However, there are still many superstars who are yet to face the wrath of Reigns. To establish himself as the polarising figure of the WWE, he has to go through these wrestlers and mark his territory.

The ShowOff has never faced Reigns One-on-One

Dolph Ziggler has never faced Reigns in a singles match. They have come face to face quite a few times, but only in tag-team and Royal Rumble matches, where Reigns has always seemed to have an upper hand.

The two have shown their strengths time and again and would love to work opposite each other.

Ziggler has been one of the most consistent performers over the years. After all those years of ups and downs, The Showoff has started getting the much-needed attention he deserves.

His journey in WWE has been nothing short of a roller-coaster ride. With his contract in WWE getting renewed, we are sure to see a match between him and Reigns in the near future.

#4 Matt Hardy

A match between Matt Hardy and Reigns would not be far away

Matt Hardy made his return to WWE last year at WrestleMania 33. Since then, he and Reigns have not crossed each other's paths.

Hardy, with his "woken" gimmick, is feuding with Bray Wyatt whereas The Big Dog has his eyes set on the Universal Championship.

With both the wrestlers on the same brand, a match between them might not be too far. Hardy has been associated with WWE for around two decades, and the creative should certainly book a feud between the two. That would be wonderful.

Sami Zayn has never faced Reigns in a one-on-one match.

They shared a ring a couple of times, in tag-team and a fatal-four way match, which Reigns eventually won.

The two are absolute workhorses and put up fabulous matches every week. A match between two highly skilled in-ring talents would be a treat to watch.

Zayn is one of the most underrated wrestlers in WWE today. Around three years on the main roster, The Underdog has not managed to win even a single championship. A great feud with Reigns will be a solid boost for his career.

#2 Jeff Hardy

The Charismatic Enigma is expected to be back soon

Since making his return at WrestleMania 33, The Hardy Boyz went on to win the Raw Tag-team Championship.

The fans were really excited to see the Charismatic Enigma back in action, but his run was short-lived due to an injury.

He has been cleared to wrestle again and can make his arrival anytime soon.

Jeff is one of the most likable wrestlers in WWE. His return is highly anticipated, and what better way to book his arrival than by putting him against Reigns.

The WWE Universe would love to witness a historic fight between the two. A match between a top high-flyer and a top powerhouse will be nothing less than extraordinary.

#1 Kurt Angle

Even though he is the RAW GM, the Olympics Gold Medalist has been very active in the ring

Kurt Angle returned to WWE last year as a General Manager of Monday Night Raw.

But even as a GM, Angle wasn't hesitant to get into the ring as a competitor, and he made his successful arrival to action at WWE TLC to take Reigns' position alongside Dean Ambrose and Rollins in a historic 5-on-3 Handicap Match.

He then captained Team Raw to supremacy in the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match at Survivor Series 2017.

Angle's unique competitive streak makes him an extremely tough opponent. A match between two highly skilled in-ring talents would be a treat to watch.

What promises to be a colossal battle between two celebrated superstars with different wrestling styles, the crowd would erupt to see the Olympic Hero going against The Big Dog.
