5 Wrestlers who could make a return at Elimination Chamber

Elimination Chamber

Elimination Chamber is one of the most popular PPVs of the year and the Elimination Match itself is a spectacle. This year, we will have not one but two Elimination Chamber matches-- one for the Men and one for The Women.

With Wrestlemania right around the corner, could we see some Superstars return to action this PPV?

Here is a list of 5 most likely Superstars who could surprise us at Elimination Chamber:

#5 Kane

Kane, who had been part of a prolonged rivalry with Braun Straumann has been out of action ever since Braun upended the stage beneath the RAW announce table crushing Kane under it.

This incident took place during a last man standing match between the two which saw The Monster Among Men come out victorious. Kane was taken to a hospital afterwards but the Big Red Machine managed to escape and has not been seen since.

Thus, it is quite possible that Kane will make his return at Elimination Chamber costing Strowman the match and continuing the rivalry with him.

#4 Bobby Lashley

Bobby Lashley was up until recently a part of Impact Wrestling where he stayed from 2014 till 2018 during his second run with the company.

Lashley was also part of WWE from 2005-2008 capturing the US and ECW Championships during his time.

Lashley has recently left Impact Wrestling and it has been speculated that he will be making his return to WWE soon. With WrestleMania just around the corner, it will be a good idea to re-introduce Lashley at the Elimination Chamber PPV and maybe challenge Braun Strowman or John Cena after the match.

#3 Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe has been out of action since early January owing to a foot injury he incurred during his match with Rhyno during an episode of RAW.

Although WON has stated that Joe is expected to make his return to the ring in mid-march, it is still possible that WWE decides to bump up his return to Elimination Chamber in order to build a storyline for him.

Samoa Joe can target Finn Balor as he does not have any significant angle going on as of now and a Joe vs Balor feud which would culminate at Wrestlemania would be something every fan would enjoy.

#2 Chris Jericho

Although Jericho had his last match for New Japan Pro Wrestling when he faced off against Kenny Omega at the Wrestle-Kindom 12 event in January, Jericho made an unexpected appearance at Raw on the 25th-anniversary episode and had a backstage segment with Elias.

Jericho, as of now, is a free agent and has made appearances for NJPW even after his match with Kenny Omega, so it is a bit unlikely that he will return to WWE anytime soon.

However, a scenario where Jericho returns at Elimination Chamber and continues his animosity with Elias would be received well by the fans. Elias does not have a solid plan for Wrestlemania and a match with Jericho is exactly what would be needed to elevate him to the next level.

#1 Triple H

Triple H

The last time we saw The Game in action was last year at Survivor Series when as a part of Team RAW he successfully defeated team Smackdown and become the lone survivor along with Braun Strowman.

What made the headlines even more than the match itself was what followed afterwards; which was Braun Strowman decimating Triple H post-match.

Although this attack led to the speculation that a feud between Triple H and Braun would be on the cards, nothing really materialised in that respect. So, it is quite possible that The Game decides to extract revenge at Elimination Chamber preventing Strowman from picking up the win and also setting up a match between the two for Wrestlemania.
