5 wrestlers who have had their teeth knocked out

So, we all know that injuries are part and parcel of the business, but here are the five most gruesome dental extractions we've spotted in WWE - and none of them were performed by Isaac Yankem!

Beware, some of the images in the next few slides are not for the squeamish, but will show just how tough WWE Superstars really are - and how their dentists really are underrated.

#5 Cesaro

Okay, so we're starting off with this one because it's kind of cheating to have it in.

His teeth technically never got knocked out, they got knocked in - but there's no way we could leave him out.

One of the most gruesome injuries of recent time was when Cesaro took a slingshot from Dean Ambrose during a tag team championship match and ate some ring post.

What was even more amazing was that he finished the matchup, wrestling for a good 30 minutes after the injury happened.

The image even earned him his very own T-shirt in the WWE Shop, featuring the nickname "Thwith Thyborg" - released after Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose mocked the star's lisp while he had to wear braces and a gumshield after the injury.

#4 Natalya

So, next up we have Cesaro's former manager when he was part of Best Team Ever with Tyson Kidd. This one happened at a live event in a match against Alexa Bliss and Carmella.

Natalya got rushed to the hospital for emergency dental work, but still had time to pose for a selfie with Renee Young and posting the caption, "BRB. Just grabbing two new front teeth! All in a days work! (I was made in the Dungeon)"

#3 Jeff Hardy

So, this isn't the most gruesome one, but one of the most impressive!

Jeff Hardy had a tooth kicked clean out by Sheamus at the Payback PPV in 2017, leaving one gap in his otherwise sparkling set of pearly whites. Perhaps the Celtic Warrior is in the wrong profession...

Jeff has put his body through enough that one tooth flying out probably didn't disrupt him too much.

#2 Neville

Ever wonder why Neville wrestles with a mouth guard?

Two words. Brodus Clay.

The then-NXT Champion lost four of his front teeth during a backstage segment with Clay, filmed at the March 13, 2014, event in Winter Park, Florida. The segment aired on April 17, 2014.

#1 Mick Foley

Perhaps more famed for losing an ear, no-one else could go to number one aside from the Hardcore Legend himself, Mick Foley!

We can't speak for all of his teeth, but the most memorable removal was via steel chair while competing in his legendary Hell In A Cell match with The Undertaker, leaving us with this beautifully unforgettable image.

We think the dentist was possibly low on his list of problems after that one.
