5 wrestlers who should win the ''Greatest Royal Rumble'' Match

First Ever 50 Man Royal Rumble

A few weeks ago, WWE announced that they will be holding the first ever fifty man Royal Rumble match. The match will take place at a house show in Saudi Arabia on April 27th. Within the last day or so it was announced that the match will be aired on the WWE Network.

WrestleMania is currently the biggest talk in WWE right now, but afterwards, this event will be what everyone will talk about. Hopefully, whoever wins this will get pushed afterwords and this won't just end up as a cool achievement for someone.

Fifty Superstars being in the match is insane. So many possibilities to win the event. Let's take a look at five wrestlers who could win this historical match.

#5 Kevin Owens

He really needs a big push after WrestleMania

Owens is currently involved in a feud with best friend Sami Zayn and Shane McMahon. It's honestly been a weak feud and Owens deserves much more. At least he will have a match at WrestleMania and not get added to the Andre the Giant Battle Royal or worse, left off the event.

There's a chance that after WrestleMania, Owens may be left in the shuffle. Winning the first ever fifty man Royal Rumble may help boost him back up into the main event scene.

He is one of the best workers on the mic and one of the best in ring workers WWE currently has and it would be a shame not to capitalize on this.

#4 Chris Jericho

'Drink it in MAAAAANNNNNN!!'

Since there are going to be fifty wrestlers in this match, there's a good chance some wrestlers from NXT will be in the match and plenty of veterans will be involved.

So, if a veteran were to win the match, then look no further than Chris Jericho. For as long as he has been around, he's never won a Royal Rumble. This will be another major achievement in his career. Now, this match will be special, but it might not be the same as winning the match in January as tradition goes.

There's a high chance of Jericho being at the event since he doesn't seem to have anything left for New Japan. It's a shame for that relationship because there are so many dream matches he could've had.

#3 Braun Strowman

BRAUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNN!!!

Strowman is currently involved in a thrown together feud with Sheamus and Cesaro. It is a shame that these men are in this situation because they all deserve better. The Bar should have a proper tag match with someone on the main roster or a call-up from NXT. Authors of Pain anyone?

On the other side, 'The Monster Among Men' should be involved in either the Intercontinental or Universal Championship title picture.

Assuming WWE doesn't give Strowman a partner, he could create history as the first man to win the Tag Team Titles by himself. We could see WWE doing that. Why not continue making history as the first ever fifty man Royal Rumble winner. He has been the man to watch for the last year and that momentum should continue for the future as well.

#2 Finn Balor

Ente
Balor should have a strong 2018

Balor will be involved in the triple threat Intercontinental championship match at this year's WrestleMania. It's obvious that either he or Seth Rollins will be leaving as the champion because The Miz will be leaving for a while to be a father.

If 'The Demon' were to win the title, he should continue that momentum in winning the fifty man Royal Rumble match. Balor has had a lot of ups and downs over the last year. He went from having a classic match with AJ Styles to jobbing to Kane within twenty-four hours. Hopefully, that streak doesn't continue for the remainder of 2018.

WWE should really consider taking the 'Balor Club' to the next level. Having their leader being Intercontinental Champion and the Royal Rumble winner will make him look good going forward.

#1 Samoa Joe

What a way to make his return!

Due to injury, Samoa Joe will sadly miss WrestleMania. Since this is happening, WWE really should push him whenever he comes back. Most returns from injury happen the night after WrestleMania.

As awesome as the reaction will be to hear Joe's music on that night, I say he shouldn't return until the fifty man Royal Rumble match. There isn't really a time frame on when he's coming back, but having him return and win the match will do wonders for the man.

Also throwing him into a big match could hide any ring rust he may have, but I'm confident that he can still go regardless.
