#4 Hope isn’t true: No current plans for the Money In The Bank contract

Unfortunately, it looks like WWE don’t really have big plans for the men’s Money In The Bank contact this year. The Miz won the MITB contract from Otis at the Hell In A Cell PPV after Tucker turned on his tag team partner, costing him the match.

The reason WWE decided to put the MITB contract on The Miz was discussed by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio. Meltzer said that the reason WWE put the MITB contract on the Miz was that they wanted it on someone who wouldn’t try to cash it in any time soon:.

"He better not cash-in because that would be... you know, I think it's on him because they needed a guy who could not cash it in this year, you know, because the whole idea is they're going to strong with Randy Orton or Drew and Roman Reigns probably isn't losing the title any time soon but who knows because Roman Reigns with a long title run was not the idea, believe it or not. Even though it seems so obvious it was not the idea. I don't know what the... I have no idea who's the guy who was supposed to be the champion because they've basically devalued everybody else."

This is definitely disappointing because it takes away the excitement of the MITB contract. At this point, it's definitely a little unlikely that we will see The Miz cash in on either Roman Reigns or Drew McIntyre.
