#3. Hope isn't true: AEW tapings almost shut down

AEW is in a tough situation as is everyone else. However, unlike WWE, they don't seem to be in a position where they have millions upon millions in reserve for a rainy day. We can't be sure as to how the end of ticket sales is affecting them, but given that they have a vital TV deal with TNT, they decided that the show must go on.

An exclusive report from WrestlingInc revealed that AEW was holding their tapings in QT Marshall's Gym in Norcross, Georgia and the state authorities tried to shut the show. The report stated that AEW had all the required paperwork to do the shoot, but the authorities stayed on until the end to make sure that all the protocols were followed.

What was Sabu really like? More info HERE.

We hope this isn't true as AEW has been doing a great job regardless of the lack of audience and they should be able to tape as much as possible until they can regroup and proceed with their tapings safely.
