#4: Demolition Vs. Legion of Doom (Wrestling Classic, 1991)

When Demolition debuted in the World Wrestling Federation, many saw the duo of Ax and Smash as the company's answers to the Road Warriors.

To be fair, much like Hawk and Animal, Demolition boasted an incredible move-set, tag team offence and painted faces much like their counterparts. So when the Road Warriors joined the WWF and were rechristened the Road Warriors, fans were pumped to see the two iconic teams finally collide.

Unfortunately, the company acted too late, and by the time the two teams did clash on Wrestling Classic, it meant very little. Demolition had lost a lot of its mystique, and having Crush replace Ax for the bout was the final blow in their aura.

What could have been a dream match just a few years earlier, turned out to be nothing.
