#4. Goldberg vs Roman Reigns - WWE WrestleMania 36 match

Goldberg was able to do the unthinkable in 2020 and defeat The Fiend for the Universal Championship. The former WCW powerhouse is still the only WWE star to have pinned The Fiend since his character change and there was no rematch given to Bray Wyatt's alter-ego. Instead, Goldberg stepped straight into a feud with Roman Reigns heading into WrestleMania 36.

When the COVID-19 pandemic forced WWE to move into the Performance Center back in March, it also forced Roman Reigns into isolation, given his recent health issues.

This meant that the former WWE Champion was unable to perform at the biggest show of the year and was instead replaced by Braun Strowman, who went on to win the Universal Championship.

"He backed out on me at WrestleMania, he stole my move – God knows how long ago – and he continues to perform it at sub-par level. Let’s be perfectly honest, I’m the dude that delivers the spear and I don’t think that he understands what it’s like until I deliver one to him. So Roman, it’s coming and I’m coming for you. I may be old, I may be grey, but I’m still Goldberg!"

Goldberg has since made it clear on WWE's The Bump that he wants the match that he was denied at WrestleMania, and went as far as to call Roman Reigns out. At present, Goldberg vs Roman Reigns is one of the matches that is being rumored for next year's Showcase of the Immortals.
