Austin last competed at WrestleMania 19 in a losing effort against The Rock.

There has never been a Superstar quite like 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin.

Appearing as The Ringmaster, Austin rose to prominence during the Attitude Era, becoming the company's biggest star and a multiple-time WWF Champion.

Though a neck injury in 1997 forever changed his in-ring style, it wouldn't be until 2003 that the Texas Rattlesnake hung up his boots.

Being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009 has not stopped fans hoping to see Austin return to the ring one more time.

But in the 16 years since his last bout at WrestleMania 19, The Bionic Redneck has stayed true to his word.

Though he has appeared plenty of times, and has raised hell and stunned countless people, there has still been no match for the Rattlesnake, though fans remain hopeful.
