We are just 5 days away from the first ever Greatest Royal Rumble which will be taking place at the King Abdullah Sports City, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on 27th April 2018.

In a first, the Royal Rumble will have 50 participants and huge names such as Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho, John Cena and The Undertaker are slated to make appearances.

Here, we will look at 5 WWE Legends and World CHampions who have failed to win a Royal Rumble in their career but might just win the "Greatest" one ever" this coming Friday.

#5 Kane

Kane
Kane

This Big Red Monster held the record for the maximum number of eliminations in a single rumble-- that being 11, up until Roman Reigns broke that record in the 2014 Royal Rumble.

Kane has been the backbone of the company for well over two decades now but has always held the role of an enhancement talent, helping out others climb the ladder of success while not accomplishing much himself.

A multi-time Tag Team Champion and a former World Champion, Kane has never been able to win a royal rumble match even though he still holds the record for the most cumulative eliminations, having eliminated more than 40 men over the years.

Could WWE reward his efforts by having him win the first ever Greatest Royal Rumble?

#4 Kurt Angle

Angle
Angle

A former 4-time WWE Champion, US Champion, and the fifth grand slam Champion; yet the Olympic gold medalist has never won a Royal Rumble match in his illustrious career.

Part of the reason for this could be the fact that Angle left WWE in 2006 and it was only last year that he returned after he was announced as the headliner for the Hall of Fame, class of 2017.

Kurt Angle is currently the RAW GM, but is also an active competitor and his last match was against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon when he teamed up with Ronda Rousey- who was making her WWE debut - to pick up the win against the two at Wrestlemania 34.

So, it is highly Likely that Angle will be a participant in the 50-man Royal Rumble and since they would require a star with a high popularity quotient winning it, Kurt would be a perfect candidate.

#3 Big Show

Big Show

The Big Show, who is 46 years old right now, seems to be in the best shape of his life judging by his social media photos. After being out of action for more than six months, Show will be returning to in-ring competition at the Greatest Royal Rumble.

With Show's size advantage, you would think that he has the best chance of winning a match like the Rumble, but unfortunately, The Giant has failed to achieve that feat in his career.

If the WWE decides to give Show a massive push upon his return then winning this historic event would be the perfect way to go about it.

#2 Daniel Bryan

Bryan
Bryan

Daniel Bryan is easily one of the most popular Superstars on the roster, if not the single most popular Superstar, as of now.

Bryan has been with the WWE since 2009 and has achieved feats like winning the WWE Championship and main-eventing Wrestlemania, but is yet to win a Royal Rumble. Even though The WWE Universe has always been firmly behind Bryan during Rumble matches, the WWE never have had enough confidence in him.

Although Bryan is back as a full-time competitor after having announced his retirement in 2014, it is highly unlikely that he will reach the top position he once held in the company.

However, it is quite possible that Bryan wins the GRR as it does not have any further implications and would be a great moment for him and the WWE Universe as well.

#1 Chris Jericho

Jericho

WWE Superstar, lead singer of the band Fozzy and a popular podcast host: Chris Jericho, is undoubtedly one of the most accomplished personalities in the world of entertainment; even so, he has never been able to win the Royal Rumble in his 19 years with the company.

Although Jericho's last match was with NJPW when he faced Kenny Omega in a losing effort at Wrestle Kingdom event held in January 2018, he has made appearances for WWE after that and is scheduled to appear at the Greatest Royal Rumble as well.

Initially, he was advertised in a casket match against The Undertaker but he has been replaced by Rusev, who was originally supposed to be Taker's opponent for the event. This could mean that Y2J will now be part of the Rumble, and might just be able to cross off the one thing he hasn't been able to achieve in his career: winning a Royal Rumble.
