Shawn Michaels had a fairytale retirement in 2010. In an incredible storyline, he pursued the Undertaker for one last match at WrestleMania, reaching new levels of obsession. He put his career on the line against The Phenom and main evented WrestleMania one last time.

He lost to Undertaker, officially ending his storied career. For eight years, he refused any offer or thought of a return, being happy with the way it ended. However, a great deal of money from Saudi Arabia finally bought him out of retirement, as he had a decent match against the Brothers of Destruction while teaming with Triple H.

Here's the problem. Despite the fact that he exceeded expectations, it was clear that he wasn't the same HBK that he was before. Things were simply too different this time around, and even after the match, you can see him telling Triple H "We're too old for this".

Hopefully, he sticks to retirement and the memories of Crown Jewel are forgotten.
