Shawn Michaels always stole the show

Sticking with the theme of the greatest in-ring performers of all time, onto a man who is perhaps the very best. Shawn Michaels has put on some of the greatest matches of all time with a variety of Superstars, but never Brock Lesnar.

The Heartbreak Kid's career actually overlapped with Lesnar's, unlike Ricky Steamboat's. During Lesnar's first run with WWE, Michaels had returned for his second — one he spent putting on incredible matches with an array of Superstars.

Unfortunately, with Michaels tied up battling The Game and Lesnar taking on the likes of Kurt Angle and Eddie Guerrero, their paths never wound up crossing. It's a shame as it's now a dream match that will forever be left to our imaginations.

We're sure this would have been a classic! A 4-star+ classic for sure!
