When Maria Kanellis, Maryse Mizannin, and the Bella Twins were all offered contracts to return to the WWE in 2012, the quartet made a pact to be loyal together, refusing to sign unless for a better deal.

That was at least the plan, as it has since been reported that the Bellas instead quickly took the contract, and to make things worse, made sure the company wouldn't sign the other two.
This obviously got under the skin of Kanellis, who has been very vocal about her disdain for the twins, who had major success after returning, including Nikki Bella becoming the longest reigning Divas Champion ever.
Instead returning to WWE in 2017, Maria's return with her debuting husband Mike Kannelis coincided nicely with Nikki's absence, a fact that hasn't gone amiss with the WWE Universe.
