Night of Champions

Night of Champions first popped up as an official pay-per-view around a decade ago, and at first, it worked really well. The idea of having every single championship being put on the line was a really fun one, and it made the show feel exceptionally unique. Then, over time, they changed the name to Clash of Champions solely to appease WCW fans - and other PPVs throughout the year saw every single title being defended.
It felt like they were dumbing down Night of Champions, and that just didn't sit well with us. The 2010 edition, as an example, was a really underrated show that felt like a big deal through the staging alone. We honestly believe that it has the potential to join the big four events as one of the landmark shows of the year, but WWE doesn't seem to agree with us.
