#1: The Nightmare turns down WWE

Ever since leaving the WWE in 2016, Cody Rhodes has become one of, if not the hottest commodity on the independent scene.
After leaving following years as Stardust, Rhodes re-established himself, and this year won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship from Nick Aldis at ALL IN.
With all this success, and even more planned for 2019, including ALL IN 2, it's no surprise that the WWE recently offered the American Nightmare a new contract.
But according to Rhodes, who spoke with WrestleTalk, he turned down the contract, seemingly showing he is completely finished with the biggest promoter in the world.
You can't exactly blame Rhodes for turning them down, as during his nine years on the WWE main roster, he never even got close to the World Title picture, whilst is now hanging with the best of them on the indies.
