2: EC3 the Scapegoat

If you were booked like EC3 has been in 2019, you'd be drinking too.

After debuting at AEW Double or Nothing, Jon Moxley has been giving tell-all interviews to anyone who will listen, lambasting his former employer, the WWE.

In one of these interviews, the Lunatic Fringe stated that the company had acted extremely petty to NXT callup EC3, after a match between the former TNA World Champion and Ambrose was received with a negative response by fans.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the poor booking of EC3 is just to this match, as Mozley has said in multiple interviews.

It seems that WWE didn't expect the match to be hit with such a reaction, and with Moxley's departure from the company imminent, it left EC3 to be the scapegoat.

If this continues, EC3 may end up joining Moxley in an AEW ring very soon.
