But according to the Observer, the original plans for the showcase of the immortals was very different.
Instead, Mysterio was supposed to face Andrade, reportedly in a mask vs. hair match, and Joe was meant to defend the star-spangled strap against John Cena.
It's unclear why these plans were changed, though it could be that the company didn't want Mysterio or Andrade to lose that stipulation, so putting the 619 master against Joe made more sense.
Either way, expect a fantastic match between these two wrestling veterans.
