#2: No releases due to AEW

On January 1, this year, pro wrestling underwent a major change.
That was the date that All Elite Wrestling was announced, a new upstart promotion spearheaded by the Young Bucks and former WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes.
WWE has no plans for these former AEW wrestlers? Here's why!
Since then, several former WWE stars have made the jump to AEW, including Neville, Billy Gunn in a backstage role, and perhaps most shocking, former WWE World Champion Chris Jericho.
This apparently has WWE concerned, as they are not releasing any Superstars they feel could be signed by AEW, according to the Observer.
This may explain why Luke Harper was recently denied his release request, and reportedly had more months added to his contract.
And as Sasha Banks continues to go AWOL on WWE TV, fans have been left wondering whether the Boss is AEW-bound.
