When Scott Hall appeared out of nowhere on an episode of WCW Nitro -- during the Monday Night Wars -- announcing his intention to take over, fans genuinely thought that Vince McMahon had sent Hall over in an act of war.

The wrestling world was reeling from his appearance but things became clear in the following weeks when Kevin Nash joined the man known to WWE fans as Razor Ramon, and the pair laid the foundations for the nWo.

For the brief period that fans believed Hall had invaded, though, they absolutely lost their minds.
