#2 Sycho Sid complained about The Ultimate Warrior in WWE
Trending
Sycho Sid, also known as Sid Justice and Sid Vicious, quit WWE in 1992 due to The Ultimate Warrior’s erratic behavior and in-ring selfishness.
Sid said in an interview with Title Match Wrestling that Warrior wanted to dominate their matches and kick out of his finisher. The two-time WWE Champion also amusingly revealed that Warrior spoke to him backstage as though he was cutting a promo.
“I left out of the room and went to one of the agents and said, ‘Come on, guys.’ ‘No, this is real.’ I go back in and [Warrior promo impression], ‘When the stars align…’ I said, ‘Okay, the first night I did it.’ We went to Boston the next night, I told them, ‘No, he’s not kicking out my finish. If he kicks out my finish tonight, I go home tomorrow morning and I never come back.’ And that’s what happened,” Sid said.
Sid left WWE in April 1992 and began working for WCW again in May 1993. He later returned to WWE between 1995 and 1997, during which time he main-evented WrestleMania 13 against The Undertaker.
The Ultimate Warrior never faced Sid again after their disagreement in 1992.

Before assuming his current role, Hart worked as a football writer at Goal.com between 2009 and 2016. He prides himself on writing original content that is fact-based and highly accurate. Hart thoroughly proofreads his work before submitting it and relies only on credible sources for information.
Hart’s favorite pro wrestler is The Undertaker. He admires the 2022 WWE Hall of Famer’s ability to reinvent his character and remain relevant across his decades-long career. If given the keys to WWE’s creative department, he would bring back The Phenom for a farewell bout against AJ Styles in a stadium full of fans. Not only that, but he would love to have the multi-time world champion’s greatest rivals seated at ringside for the spectacle.
When not watching and covering sports, Hart enjoys long-distance running, playing video games, and listening to audiobooks and podcasts.
