Daughters of WWE Superstars are looking to make an impact in the company

The recent Women's Evolution has inspired members of the WWE Universe to lace up their wrestling boots and pursue a career in the wrestling business.

Many of these women are daughters of current or former WWE Superstars who could follow in the footsteps of the likes of Tamina, Natalya, and Carmella. These former champions have enjoyed plenty of success as second-generation stars.

Several daughters of WWE stars are currently training to be Superstars; others have at least made it clear that they have an interest in joining the company.

The following list looks at just five daughters of current and former WWE Superstars who could be heading to WWE next.

#5. WWE Legend Rey Mysterio's daughter Aalyah

Aalyah Mysterio has appeared on WWE TV several times in the past as part of storylines with her father. She had a prominent role during Rey's feud with Seth Rollins, and she even had an on-screen romance with Murphy.

While Rey's son, Dominik Mysterio with signed the company, Aalyah also made an impression with the WWE Universe. She could return at some point and build off of this initial success.

Rey Mysterio recently revealed in an interview with Scott Fishman of TV Insider that his daughter was actually considering a career in the business.

"Not too long ago, she asked, ‘Dad, what would you say if I wanted to step in the ring?’" Rey recalled. "I said, ‘As long as you don’t leave your career behind. She wants to join the medical field. As long as she does that and tries wrestling as a second option, I don’t mind."
"She always had the curiosity to take a bump, hit the ropes," Rey continued. "I said, whenever you want to try it, let me know. I think it’s in the back of her mind. She is very dedicated to her school and education. I’m proud of that right now."

As noted, Aalyah left WWE in order to continue her studies and ensure that she has a backup plan outside of wrestling. Still, various reports have suggested that, during her time on-screen, Vince McMahon was a huge fan of Aaliyah. If she eventually tries to get into the family business, it's easy to believe that McMahon would hand her a WWE deal right away.

#4. WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper's daughter Teal Piper

Roddy Piper was one of the biggest stars that WWE has ever made. The WWE Hall of Famer also made an impact on future generations; he inspired Ronda Rousey to lace up her wrestling boots, and he also motivated his own daughter, Teal.

Teal memorably made her wrestling debut in the Casino Battle Royale at AEW All Out in 2019. The second-generation star was eliminated by Awesome Kong in what went on to be her only appearance for the company. Interestingly, Teal was trained by Tessa Blanchard, the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Tully Blanchard.

Teal has since joined Women of Wrestling as an interviewer, but she could be snapped up by WWE in the future. The company already has a number of future prospects in the women's division, and Teal could join this remarkable group.

Teal could thrive if she gets the chance to train at WWE's Performance Center. There, she could work on her in-ring skills or continue her career as an interviewer and eventually join WWE's broadcasting team.

#3. WWE CBO and COO Stephanie McMahon and Triple H's daughter Aurora Rose Levesque

Having a mother and father who are married to the business like Stephanie McMahon and Triple H has obviously inspired Aurora Rose to follow their path into WWE.

The eldest daughter of the WWE power couple has already started training to be a wrestler, and she could be signed by her grandfather's company at any time. The Rock's daughter, Simone Johnson was signed at a young age, and Aurora could follow a similar path.

Stephanie McMahon revealed that her daughter opted to join the family business during a 2019 interview with Fox Sports.

“My eldest daughter has already started training and I would encourage them to follow their passion and whatever they believe in as long as they work hard at it,"said McMahon. "I believe in a strong work ethic and I believe they can do anything in the world they want to do, but they are going to have to believe in themselves and work hard.”

Aurora Rose was born while her father Triple H and Shawn Michaels were part of a storyline reunion as DX in 2006. At the age of 15, WWE could potentially sign her at any point in the near future.

#2. Former WWE Official Scott Armstrong's daughter Kayla

Former WWE official Scott Armstrong came from quite the wrestling family, as his father and three brothers all made some sort of impact in the business.

For this reason, it's not surprising that the former WWE star's daughter has already looked to follow in her father's footsteps. In fact, WWE even gave her a tryout in 2012.

Kayla noted on her Twitter page that she was heading for a tryout with WWE, but the company didn't sign her to a deal.

"At the airport getting ready to fly to Tampa for my tryout! I’m nervous and excited about finally doing this all on my own! It’s all me now!" Kayla Armstrong wrote.

It's been almost a decade since Kayla first turned heads in WWE. With several more years of experience behind her, Kayla could be on the company's radar. Her father currently works as a backstage producer for WWE; now that Kayla has married and welcomed a child into the world, she could be looking to reignite her passion for the business.

#1. Former WWE Superstar Santino Marella's daughter Bianca Carelli

Santino Marella is a memorable former WWE Superstar, but his name has been in the news in recent years because of his daughter Bianca.

She had a tryout a few years ago, but company officials told her that she had to gain a little more experience in the ring. Since then, Bianca has been training alongside her father, and now that she has more seasoning, she could be looking to make her mark in WWE.

As part of a recent appearance on Renee Paquette's Oral Sessions, Santino noted that his daughter is very talented as a wrestler.

"There was no plan for her to wrestle 'til a few years ago," said Santino. "She's finishing off university now, but her first few years when she got a little lost herself and I'm like, 'Look man! You wanna wrestle? You're tall, you're strong, you're pretty!'"
"So she started training with Tyson Dukes, because I didn't want to train her at first in the beginning because I yell at my students," Santino continued. "Then she came and trained with me. She gets it, you know, she gets the psychology, the storytelling aspect. You know, stuff I teach my students and she gets it."

With Santino's comments in mind, Bianca could be a fantastic addition to WWE's roster in the near future, as she's seemingly excelling in the ring after only a few years of training.
